Fixlok 50 D/S is a dry syrup containing Cefixime Trihydrate (100 mg/5 ml), a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used to treat various bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the elimination of infection-causing bacteria.

Most side effects are mild and temporary, but consult a doctor if they persist:

• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Stomach pain
• Headache
• Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling)

Fixlok 50 D/S is prescribed for treating bacterial infections such as:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, pharyngitis)
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• Ear infections (Otitis Media)
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Typhoid fever
