Dicolok Gel is a topical pain-relieving medication that combines multiple active ingredients to provide fast and effective relief from pain and inflammation. It works by blocking the release of pain-inducing chemicals while also improving blood circulation at the application site. Additionally, it creates a cooling effect on the skin, enhancing comfort and soothing the affected area.
Side Effects of Dicolok Gel
Most side effects of Dicolok Gel do not require medical attention and usually subside as your body adjusts to the medication. However, if they persist or cause concern, consult your doctor.
Common Side Effects:
✔ Application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness
To minimize side effects, apply the gel only to intact skin, avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds, and wash your hands after application (unless treating hands). If you experience any severe reactions, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
Dicolok Gel is a combination of four active ingredients: Diclofenac diethylamine, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Menthol.
✔ Diclofenac diethylamine & Menthol – Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that block the release of chemical messengers responsible for pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
✔ Linseed Oil – A plant-based oil that further reduces inflammation, improves blood circulation, and enhances the penetration of Diclofenac through the skin.
✔ Methyl Salicylate – Produces a cooling effect on the skin, providing additional relief.
This gel is used to relieve muscle pain, joint pain, strains, sprains, and inflammation due to arthritis or sports injuries. Apply it to the affected area for quick and effective relief.
Upon application, Dicolok Gel may cause burning, irritation, itching, or redness at the site. These effects are usually mild and go away on their own. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor for guidance on preventing or reducing discomfort.
Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any underlying medical conditions. Additionally, let your doctor know if you are using any other medications to avoid potential interactions. Always use the gel as directed and avoid contact with open wounds, eyes, or mucous membranes.
